Argela has signed a strategic collaboration agreement with Stanford Research Institute (SRI), one of Silicon Valley’s long-established research institutions in the United States, covering joint research and development activities in next-generation communication technologies.
Launched in line with Türk Telekom’s technology vision, the collaboration marks an important step toward strengthening engineering capabilities developed in Türkiye through international research expertise and bringing Turkish engineering capabilities to the global technology ecosystem. By combining Argela’s engineering expertise in telecommunications technologies with SRI’s nearly 80 years of research and innovation experience, the partnership will focus on joint initiatives aimed at developing next-generation communication technologies.

As part of the project, testing and development processes will be carried out in Türkiye, and we aim to turn the experience we gain into tangible value through new technologies developed with our national R&D capabilities.

Technology Developed in Türkiye Gains Strength Through Global Collaboration
The initial focus of the collaboration will be on high-speed packet processing technologies required by the communication networks of the future. As part of the project, a new approach will be explored to move high-performance processing, currently carried out using purpose-built hardware, to GPU-based programmable platforms.
This approach aims to enable the development of next-generation technologies that are more flexible, easier to adapt to different requirements and more cost-effective.
