Argela in co-operation with Quortus participated to Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) Congress in Munich, Germany, 21-22 September, 2016 (http://www.etsi.org/news-events/events/1083-etsi-mec-poc-zone). Argela and Quortus proposed a typical healthcare use-case, delivering optimized communication services in a hospital environment. Argela has provided ProgRAN Controller product into the Helthcare Proof of Concept and introduced network slicing capabilities during the demonstration. All kind of dynamic resource slicing/allocation for different user categories are applied successfully. This success shows how ProgRAN can be applied to MEC concepts.
